Nowhere is a sense of place more important than in Gorham's Bluff, and there is no more fundamental way to celebrate a place than to embrace its culinary traditions. In the Lodge on Gorham's Bluff, our kitchen honors the simple, wholesome grace of Southern cooking. Our "refined farmhouse" approach blends the time-honored techniques of haute cuisine with fresh seasonal ingredients native to our region. What we don't grow in our own garden and greenhouse, we buy from local farms and dairies. The result is delicious, hearty food that's true to-but not bound by-the region where it's made. It also reflects the Gorham's Bluff commitment to the principles of balance, sustainability, and authentic connections to people and place.
